How to play

  1. Each grid is a smooth blend between its four corner colours, but some tiles have been shuffled.
  2. Tap a tile, then another, to swap them. The corners (with a dot) are locked.
  3. Fix the blend in as few swaps as you can. Par is the fewest swaps possible, plus two.
  4. Each grid is worth up to 100. You lose 6 for each swap over par, and a hint costs 10.

Ways to play

Daily

Five grids from 4×4 to 6×6, the same for everyone, new every midnight Eastern time. Up to 500 points.

Practice chains and past days (Premium)

Five new grids every time, and every earlier daily.

Tips

  • Start from the corners and work inwards: the tiles next to a corner are the closest to its colour.
  • Look along a row and a column at once. Each tile changes a little in both directions.
  • Squint. Small differences in brightness are easier to see when the colours blur.

Questions

How is it scored?

Up to 100 a grid: minus 6 for every swap over par (never below 20), minus 10 for each hint. An unsorted grid you finish early scores up to 30.

Is it free?

The daily is free every day. FunFuel Premium ($3.99 once) adds practice chains and past days.
