How to play
- Everyone gets the same secret word, except the imposter, who only sees the category.
- Take turns giving a one-word clue. Prove you know the word without giving it away.
- After two rounds of clues, everyone votes for who they think is the imposter.
- Catch them and the crew scores, unless the imposter can guess the secret word. Slip away and the imposter scores big.
Ways to play
Online
3 to 8 players on their own phones. Clues are typed, so it's perfect on Discord or a video call.
Pass and play
3 to 10 players and one phone: everyone peeks at their card in secret, then you talk it out.
Undercover
The imposter gets a word of their own, close to the real one (Pizza vs Lasagne), so the clues almost fit. Nobody knows for sure who's bluffing.
Vague hints
The imposter doesn't even see the category: just three vague hints about the word, like "Often shared · Served warm · Popular on weekends". Bluffing has never been harder.

Food, animals, places, jobs, sports, things around the house, vehicles, holidays, make-believe and more. Pick the ones you like.
Tips
- As the crew, give clues that are specific enough to prove you know the word, but vague enough that the imposter can't guess it.
- As the imposter, listen carefully to the first clues and stay vague. Repeating someone's idea in your own words works well.
- Watch for players whose clues are a little too general.

Can we play over Discord or Zoom?
Yes. Make an online lobby and share the code. Everyone sees their secret card and the typed clues on their own phone.
