How to play

  1. Everyone gets a hand of cards, and one card starts the pile.
  2. Play a card that matches the top card's colour, number or symbol.
  3. Can't play? Draw a card. Special cards reverse the table or make the next player draw.
  4. Stack +2s and +4s to pass the pain along. First to empty their hand wins.

Vs computer

Play against 1 to 5 computer players, Relaxed or Sharp.

Online

Friends join from their own phones with a 4-letter code.

Pass and play

Share one device round the table.

Tips

  • Hang on to a +4 for when someone is down to their last card.
  • When a card lets you change the colour, pick one you have plenty of.
  • Watch what colours other players keep drawing for.

How many can play?

2 to 6 players.

Can I change how the cards look?

Yes. Pick a deck theme on the Flip Eight menu. Ocean is the default.

Are Quick Play lobbies real players?

Quick Play matches you with real players first. When there aren't enough people online to fill a lobby, the empty seats are filled by computer players with their own names and looks, so you never wait long. Computer players don't count toward leaderboards, online wins or badges. To play only with friends, make your own lobby and share the code.
