How to play
- Everyone is asked for a few words: a noun, an animal, a silly sound, a feeling… Nobody sees the story yet.
- Type your words, or tap Surprise me for a random one.
- The story is revealed line by line with everyone's words dropped in. Read it out loud (or tap Read it aloud).
- Vote for the funniest word. Each vote is a point, and the funniest word of the round gets a bonus. Most points after the last story wins.

Tips
- The best words are unexpected: a strange animal, a very specific food, a ridiculous sound.
- Words that fit the type but not the moment are the funniest. The story always asks for a noun, never for a funny noun!
- Made-up words get capital letters automatically, so they work as names in the story.
Questions
How does a fill-in-the-blank story game work?
Everyone types words of a certain kind (a noun, an animal, a silly sound) without seeing the story. Then the story is revealed with those words in it, and the mix-ups are what make it funny.
How many players do you need?
Any number from 1 to 10. Play on your own, pass one phone round, or play online with up to 8.
Can we use any words we like?
Yes, anything goes. Type whatever you like into the blanks: the sillier, the better.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free in your browser. No download or account needed.
What is Quick Play?
Quick Play lists the public rooms people have opened for this game, so you can jump into one without a code. These are always real players. Host your own room and pick Public to have it listed, or Private to share the code only with friends.
