How to play

  1. You see a tiny close-up of a real photo of something almost everyone knows: a landmark, an animal, a food, an everyday thing or a famous painting.
  2. Type what you think it is. There's no timer, and spelling slips are fine.
  3. Every wrong guess pulls the camera back a little, so you see more each time. Six guesses a picture, and it never zooms all the way out until the end.
  4. A first-guess hit is worth 1,000 points, then 800, 650, 500, 350 and 200. Get it and the camera glides back to the whole picture.

Tips

  • Look at the colours and the edges first. A curve, a stripe or a texture often gives it away.
  • Check the category on the frame: Landmark, Animal, Food, Object, Vehicle, Space, Nature or Painting.
  • For paintings, typing the painter's name gets you a nudge without using a guess. Then name the painting.
