- About 3 minutes
- Two new dailies every day
- No download
How to play
- Each prompt asks you to name something, like "Name a fruit" or "Something in a kitchen". You have 25 seconds and one answer.
- Daily Flight: the rarer your answer, the higher Bandit's hot-air balloon climbs, from the countryside up through the clouds and the mountains. Six answers nobody else gave dock him at the space station.
- Common Ground: now the most popular answer wins. Bandit rides his motorbike from the city through the greenlands, the jungle and the snowy mountains, and six top answers take him to the summit.
- Every answer scores up to 1,000 points, plus a 250-point Ace bonus when all six are good ones. Players' real answers decide what counts as rare and what counts as common.
Ways to play
Daily Flight
Six prompts, the same for everyone, new every midnight Eastern time. Rare answers climb. It's also round 1 of Play The Daily.
Common Ground
Six different prompts each day. Think like everyone else: the most common answers go furthest.
Practice and past days (Premium)
Practice runs any time, and every earlier Daily Flight and Common Ground. They don't count for the leaderboard.
Tips
- In the Daily Flight, skip the first answer that pops into your head. Everyone else thought of it too.
- In Common Ground, do the opposite: say the first thing that comes to mind.
- Small typos and plurals are fine, and "Did you mean…?" catches near misses before they cost you.
Questions
Who is Bandit?
Bandit is FunFuel's pixel-art raccoon. He collects postcards from every place he reaches, and you can unlock new balloons, bikes, scarves and caps for him.
How do you know which answers are rare?
Every answer players give is counted. Until a prompt has enough players, the game estimates from its own lists, which put the most common answers first.
Does the weather change my score?
No. Rain, snow, storms and rainbows are just scenery. They never change how far Bandit goes.
Is it free?
Both dailies are free every day, in your browser on phone, tablet or computer. FunFuel Premium ($3.99 once) adds practice runs and every past day.
